This handcrafted blue and brass cuff features the Karner blue butterfly.

ABOUT THE KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY
The tiny Karner blue butterfly (Lycaeides melissa samuelis), with a wingspan of just an inch, is found primarily in Wisconsin and the Northeast. They feed only on the leaves of the wild lupine plant, which makes them uniquely vulnerable to extinction.  Fortunately, preservation efforts targeting the pine and oak barrens in which the Karner thrives can yield promising results.
